RISHI SUNAK’s official Christmas video has dropped and it really disappoints. In spectacular fashion.
The video starts off with the Prime Minister writing a letter at his desk in an empty Downing Street before descending into a Home Alone or Hugh Grant in Love Actually-esque scene – playing cricket in the hallway, watching Elf while tucking into some spaghetti and attempting to give Larry, the Number 10 cat, a kiss – to which the feline visibly recoils.
Larry, yet again, capturing the mood of the nation.
“Ffs. Make it stop,” said LBC presenter Sangita Myska on Twitter/X.
Rishi Sunak continues his tradition of cringe worthy videos & images made at our expense. All underlying how clueless & completely out of touch he is with the state of the country he is PM of. https://t.co/hj1cKFLclH

Nick Tyrone, meanwhile, said: “He’s medically incapable of not coming across as weird. What is he trying to convey with this? Again, No 10 comms, falling on its face.”
Campaigner Bradley Wall asked: “I want to know how much tax payers cash was wasted in the making of this.”
The Jouker can only agree, a truly awful video.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
