A 58-YEAR-OLD man has died after allegedly being assaulted at a bus station with a teenager arrested in connection with the incident.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Elgin Bus Station on St Giles Road around 10.40pm on Friday.
A 58-year-old man was rushed to the Dr Grays Hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.

The busy transport hub was forced to close overnight with a police cordon in place.
Stagecoach North has confirmed that the man who died was a driver with the company, and it is assisting police with their investigation.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach North said: "We are shocked and saddened by this news and our immediate thoughts are with the family and friends of our driver who has sadly passed away.
"Safety is our number one priority and incidents like this are extremely rare. We are doing everything we can to support our colleagues and our driver's family as well as assisting the police in their investigation."
Following the incident, Police Scotland has now confirmed that a 15-year-old male has now been arrested.
A spokesperson said: “Around 10.40pm on Friday, February 2 2024, police were called to the St Giles Road area of Elgin following a report of the assault of a 58-year-old man.
“Emergency services attended and the man was taken to Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin where he later died.
“A 15-year-old male youth has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing.”

Stagecoach Bluebird warned travellers they should expect disruption and said: “Due to a police incident at Elgin Bus Station, there is major disruption to our service.
“We have tried to run some services but would advise passengers seek alternative transport.”
