POLICE have confirmed the arrest and charge of two children under 15-years-old for the assault of a 74-year-old woman.
The incident happened around 6pm on Saturday, 30 March, 2024 in the area of Ardblair Woods.
Officer said in a social media post that the woman was unhurt, but extremely shocked by the incident.
A 14-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl have been charged with assault and threatening and abusive behaviour towards the elderly woman.
Another 14-year-old boy has been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour.
They will be reported to the Youth Justice Assessor.
Police Scotland Gary Campbell of Blairgowrie Police Station said: “We would like to thank the local community for their assistance during our enquiries.”
