A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been arrested and charged after the death of a man in Glasgow.
Police were called to the Victoria Road area in the city’s southside just before midnight on Friday after reports of a serious assault on a 70-year-old man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family have been made aware and have requested privacy, police said.
The 15-year-old is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 15 April, 2024.
He has been charged in connection with he incident.
Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson said: “At this time, our thoughts remain with the deceased’s family and friends, as they come to terms with their tragic loss.
“I would like to thank the local community for their assistance with our enquiries.”
