Sir Rod Stewart delighted fans with a surprise performance at a Glasgow bar over the weekend.

The legendary musician got behind the mic at Murphy's bar on Bell Street in the city on Saturday.

In a clip, shared by Scottish country singer Kevin McGuire on social media, the 79-year-old joined Kevin and also John McLaughlin - the singer from Glasgow-based band Johnny Mac & The Faithful - to sing Maggie May, one of Rod's hit tunes.

Rod is known for his hits including Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Baby Jane, Sailing and many more.
