The agent notes that the café enjoys a “modern, rustic feel with a seamless blend of natural wooden fixtures and fittings”.

Customers are promised a “warm, inviting atmosphere” while the café would come with a sales/service counter, a well-equipped galley kitchen and accessible toilet.

The café is currently open until 5pm although “there is scope to increase trading hours to provide meals at night,” the agent says.

The business is described as “profitable” and it benefits from both local trade throughout the year as well as an influx of tourists in the summer months.

Cafe owner Hazel commented: “The Midge Bite has been the stand out best chapter of my 20 odd year career in hospitality. This is the perfect location.

Emily Hewitson of Graham and Sibbald added: “Set on the world-famous North Coast 500, The Midge Café is a great business for the right operator to take on.

"The new owner would have a great opportunity to build upon the stellar reputation and established trade to create a perfect lifestyle business.
