A 27-YEAR-OLD man has died at a park in Dundee with police launching an investigation into the circumstances.

The emergency services were called to Camperdown Park at around 2.40pm on Thursday, August 1, to the report of a man who had died suddenly.

According to The Courier, the area around the park was closed off for several hours, as multiple emergency services vehicles attended the scene.

Officers are treating the death of the 27-year-old as unexplained, and inquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Thursday, we attended Camperdown Park in Dundee following the sudden death of a 27-year-old man.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing.”
