LARGE pro-immigration posters have appeared across Glasgow.
The posters with the words “Thank God for Immigrants” have been spotted in the city’s Tradeston area on Commerce Street.
A separate post on social media site Reddit shows the same poster, reportedly in the East End of Glasgow.
Posters with the same design have also popped up across the UK, including in Bristol and Birmingham.
The design was originally released in 2020, with conceptual artist Jeremy Deller and design partner Fraser Muggeridge coming up with the idea during the Covid pandemic to highlight the efforts of the NHS and other key workers during lockdown.
The artwork is on sale for £50 as part of a fundraising campaign for the Refugee Council and Revoke, a charity advocating for the rights of displaced young people.
One social media user wrote about the posters in Tradeston on Twitter/X (below).

“Might be silly but honestly with the state of the world right now, it’s just things like this that make you feel comfortable in your own skin.”
