OASIS have announced a reunion and, due to high demand from fans, more dates have been added to their upcoming UK tour – including a third Scottish gig.

Releasing the dates on their official Twitter/X account, the band said “unprecedented demand” had led to more shows being announced before tickets go on sale this week.

The Gallagher brothers will be visiting three cities one more time than originally announced with new dates including an additional show in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh.

The Manchester band on Tuesday announced their first run of gigs in more than a decade since they broke up backstage at the French music festival Rock en Seine in 2009.

The band have told fans they will receive a confirmation email if they entered the ballot, which launched on Tuesday night.

A post on their page on social media platform X read: “We are aware that many of you are still waiting on a confirmation email.

“Rest assured they are on their way, as we process an unprecedented volume of entries.

“Everyone who has filled out the ballot form by 7pm BST today, Wednesday, August 28, will receive an email where they can confirm their entry in the ballot.”

The band has also responded to speculation that they may be headlining Glastonbury in 2025, saying it is baseless. In a statement, Oasis said: "Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year.

"The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live '25 World Tour."
