A YELLOW weather warning for thunderstorms and flooding has been extended as parts of Scotland endure another day of stormy conditions.
The Met Office had issued a weather alert for the Borders and some of the east of Scotland on Sunday, however, the alert has been updated for another full day with more of the country being affected.
A yellow warning has been in effect since 4 am on Saturday but is now extended until midnight on Monday.

The alert now stretches all the way up north in Scotland and covers Shetland. It has also been extended west with Greater Glasgow now being affected too.
The Met Office has warned there could be a chance of flooding and power outages in some areas.
Along with heavy rain and a possible thunderstorm, the weather forecast has also warned that some public transport could be disrupted or cancelled.
It also warned motorists that due to spray on the roads driving conditions could be difficult.
