POLICE have released a CCTV image of a woman missing from Aberdeen as the search to find her continues.

Alice Mitchell had last been seen at around 11pm on Monday, September 9 in the Forrit Brae area of Bucksburn.

However, police said they have now confirmed that the 82-year-old was spotted on CCTV walking along the B979 towards Starbucks in Blackburn, at around 5.25am on Tuesday, September 10.

Mitchell is described as being around 5ft 1ins tall, of slim build, and with short grey hair. She is believed to be wearing a black bomber-style jacket. The CCTV image shows her wearing dark colours.

Sergeant Mark Cobban said: “As time passes, our concern for Alice’s welfare continues to grow.

“We continue to ask anyone with any information, or potential sightings of Alice, to please come forward.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone with possible dashcam or video doorbell footage from the area, which may be able to assist our enquiries.

“You can call police on 101, quoting incident 1131 of September 11, 2024.”
