KEIR Starmer's speech at the Labour Party conference shows he is "repeating the same damaging mistakes of the Tories", according to SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn.
On Tuesday, Starmer delivered his first speech to the Labour Party conference since becoming Prime Minister.
During the speech he announced that GB Energy will be headquartered in Aberdeen.
However, attempts by Starmer and other Labour politicians to strike an optimistic tone have been tempered by anger at the party's decision to cut the winter fuel payment and retain the two-child benefit cap.

The controversy over the acceptance of gifts from wealthy party donors have also blighted what was scheduled to be a post-election victory lap for the party.
"Keir Starmer has broken his promises to voters in Scotland - and is repeating the same damaging mistakes as the Tories," said Flynn.
"Voters were promised change but instead Scotland has been short-changed as the Labour government imposes more austerity cuts, more Brexit and more sleaze scandals.
"While Sir Keir lines his pockets with £100,000 of freebies, families in Scotland are paying the price as Labour slashes the winter fuel payment, pushes Scottish children into poverty with the two child benefit cap, and cuts billions of pounds from public services."
"The Prime Minister's claim that we all face a 'shared struggle' rings hollow when he's raking in thousands of pounds of designer clothes, holidays and hospitality, while imposing painful cuts on the rest of us.
"It's as unconvincing as George Osborne's 'we're all in this together'.
"And far from fixing the foundations - Labour is weakening them further by continuing to impose a hard Brexit and starving the UK of the capital investment needed to boost growth.
"Voters are understandably angry at the broken promises.

"It's vital Labour changes course, ends its austerity cuts, and starts to deliver the step change people want to see."
During his speech, Starmer was also interrupted by a pro-Palestine protester.
As Starmer talked about how every child’s contribution should be heard, a person yelled: “What about the children of Gaza?"
As the heckler was removed from the building, Starmer quipped: “This guy has obviously got a pass from the 2019 conference.”
