A SCOTTISH airline has launched new flights to a “popular” seaside summer destination from Glasgow Airport.

Loganair has announced direct flights from Glasgow to Newquay on Saturday afternoons which will be available from May until September 2025.

The direct one-way flights will be priced from £89.99 and include all luggage whether it is in the hold or carry-on cabin baggage.

The announcement of the flights by Loganair, which is the UK’s largest regional airline provider, will allow Scottish holidaymakers to travel to the seaside town in the south of England.

Luke Lovegrove, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair, said he is committed to improving connectivity between regions in the UK.

He said: “We are really pleased to be adding the Glasgow to Newquay service to our network of regional UK routes and we’re sure it will prove a popular choice in summer 2025.

“We will continue to work closely with the teams at both airports to maximise the potential of this route in line with our continued commitment to UK regional connectivity.”
