CALMAC has confirmed that several routes have been cancelled due to adverse weather set to be caused by Storm Ashley.

An amber weather warning for strong winds has been issued for much of Scotland this weekend.

The warning will be in place from 9am on Sunday, October 20 until 11:59pm that same day.

Routes confirmed to be cancelled from 20 October:

  • Ardrossan – Brodick
  • Berneray - Leverburgh

  • Troon – Brodick
  • Oban – Castlebay
  • Uig, Skye – Lochmaddy
  • Mallaig – Armadale
  • Mallaig - Small Isles
  • Uig - Tarbert
  • Claonaig - Lochranza 
  • Oban - Coll - Tiree
  • Oban - Colonsay - Port Askaig - Kennacraig

  • Tayinloan - Gigha 

  • Colintraive - Rhubodach Kennacraig - Port Askaig

  •  Kennacraig - Port Ellen

  • Mallaig  - Armadale 

  • Mallaig /Oban - Lochboisdale 

Routes liable to be cancelled from 20 October:

  • Gourock - Dunoon
  • Fionnphort – Iona
  • Oban - Craignure
  • Wemyss Bay - Rothesay
  • Tobermory - Kilchoan
  • Largs - Millport, Cumbrae Slip
  • Lochaline - Fishnish

  • Sconser - Raasay
