A POPULAR restaurant in Glasgow is offering bowls of ramen for just £1 this week but you'll need to act quickly if you want to make the most of the bargain.

The promotion will run from Monday, October 21 until Friday, October 26 at Mikaku on Queen Street.

Introducing the offer on its Facebook page, the eatery said customers looking to claim their bowl "better be quick" after long queues were seen last year.

The restaurant states that only the first 100 customers each day are given the deal with all half-ramen bowls being available in the promotion.

The vegan-friendly establishment is a popular destination for food lovers across Glasgow.

The eatery boasts a 3.9/5 on Google Reviews and has been praised for offering a "really nice experience" and "reasonable prices".

One patron said: "I had a fantastic experience at Mikaku.

"The ramen was the best (we ordered 2 ramen with half portions and they were enough for both of us), and the chicken karaage was equally impressive. The dumplings were also super good."

The service here was also said to be "quick" with the user commending the "super cute" decor.

 

Another added: "Stopped by for dinner, restaurant was busy, full of atmosphere and fully booked, but as I was alone the server was able to squeeze me in and was very accommodating.

"Staff were all very friendly, approachable and professional."

The spot has also received hundreds of reviews on Tripadvisor with one customer writing: "Been quite a few times and by far is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Glasgow."

Discussing the food on offer, they said "the selection of ramen" is "unmatched".

Another visitor added: "Gorgeous food and great service!

"I am a fussy eater and they were more than happy to adapt the meal to my liking!"
