PRO-PALESTINE protesters have held a demonstration outside the BBC headquarters in Glasgow.

The protest, organised by the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign (SPSC), aimed to call out the complicity of the media in Israel's assault on Gaza.

The BBC and other large news outlets have recently been criticised by pro-Palestine groups for “repeatedly promoting misleading and false narratives on Palestinians and Gaza”.

A statement from the SPSC on social media reads: “Let’s march on building of British state media to protest its blatant omissions, false framing and gross bias.”

This follows Israel’s overnight bombardment of Iran in retaliation to a missile barrage on October 1.

Iranian state media reported sounds of explosions near the capital, and that two soldiers have been killed.
