A HIGHLANDS music festival has revealed its lineup for next year with Scottish indie rock giants taking centre stage.
The family-friendly Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, founded by farmer Joe Gibbs in 2004, will return next summer from July 31 to August 2 showcasing a diverse range of music genres from across the country.
Held on the Belladrum Estate, in Kiltarlity, the festival attracts around 21,000 people each year and has featured performances from well-known stars like Lewis Capaldi, Tom Jones, and Ed Sheeran.
Organisers of the music event have announced the main headliners for next year including one of Scotland’s most iconic bands Texas.

Fronted by Sharleen Spiteri the band hasn’t played the festival since 2011 and has recently completed a sold-out arena tour of the UK.
Paul Heaton, one of the UK’s most successful songwriters with more than 15 million album sales with his bands The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, has also been announced with rapper and musician Example also joining the lineup.
Dougie Brown, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival producer, said the headliners are “guaranteed” to produce some big sing-along moments next year.
He said: “We are delighted to unveil our first batch of acts who are set to join us for the biggest party in the Highlands next summer.
“Both Texas and Paul Heaton will be guaranteed to deliver some of the biggest singalong moments in Bella history, plus there are so many other incredible acts to check out across the weekend – and this is only the first announcement!
“We can’t wait to party at Bella with our wonderful Bella family.”
Other acts revealed in this week's announcement include Tide Lines, The Pigeon Detectives, Karine Polwart, The Hoosiers, Kassidy, Beluga Lagoon, Dreadzone, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, and The Primitives.
Torridon, The Joy Hotel, Toby Lee, Bluai, Pork Pie, Calum Macphail, October Drift, The Laurettes, Lusa, Finn Forster, Fourth Daughter, Chris Mannings Highland Swing & Soul Band, Rhythmnreel, The Libby Koch Band, Dylan James Tierney, The Idiotix, and Feis Rois Ceilidh Trail have also been confirmed for next years festival with more artists to be announced in the future.
