A TEENAGER has been stabbed during an altercation on a high street in Moray.

Officers were called to Elgin's High Street on Saturday, Novermber 16 around 7.20pm/

The 15-year-old has been seriously assaulted and taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment.

He has since been released.

Police Scotland has said they are following "a positive line of enquiry".

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20pm on Saturday, 16 November, 2024, we received a report that a 15-year-old boy had been seriously assaulted on High Street, Elgin.

“He attended at Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment and was later released.

“Enquiries are ongoing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
