THE A9 has been closed in both directions due to a “multi-vehicle” collision.
In a post on Twitter/X, Traffic Scotland said the road had been closed in both directions with drivers urged to find an alternative route.
The National has approached Police Scotland for further comment.
Traffic Scotland said: “A9 – Ballinluig. Road CLOSED in BOTH DIRECTIONS due to a multi-vehicle collision.
"Road users are advised to find alternative routes at this time and be aware of possible delays to journey times."
