A MAJOR UK artist has announced a tour with six Scottish dates.

Take That singer Gary Barlow is set to take his Songbook Tour on the road next year.

As part of it, he will play in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee.

The full list of Scottish dates are:

  • 24/5: Aberdeen P&J Live, 7.30pm
  • 26/5: Glasgow SEC Armadillo, 7.30pm
  • 27/5: Glasgow SEC Armadillo, 7.30pm
  • 29/5: Edinburgh, Usher Hall, 7.30pm
  • 30/5: Dundee, Caird Hall, 7.30pm
  • 31/5: Dundee, Caird Hall, 7.30pm

The 53-year-old was in Glasgow earlier this year as Take That put on their first Glasgow show in five years at the Hydro.

The trio played three nights at the iconic venue and Gary Barlow remarked: “The further north you go, the better the audience is.”
