AN award-winning music festival has revealed the first artists on its line up for 2025.

HebCelt, set to take place from July 16 - 19, 2025, takes place in the grounds of Lews Castle in Stornoway in Lewis.

General weekend tickets and new payment plans will be on sale from 10am tomorrow. It comes after early bird tickets sold out rapidly earlier this summer.

Taking the stage as one of this year’s headliners is Tide Lines, the popular Scottish band known for their fusion of folk and rock.

HebCelt 2025 attendees will be among the first to experience Tide Lines’ newest material performed live.

Eddi Reader, renowned for her voice and emotive performances, will also join the line up.

Trail West will perform alongside local country music band The Tumbling Souls, Cala, and the Malin Lewis Trio.

Josie Duncan and Ruairidh Gray will also offer Gaelic and folk music.

From the USA, Elias Alexander will perform with his blend of Scottish folk and contemporary sounds, and from Canada, award-winning duo Madison Violet will also be attendance.

NATI., Donnie Dòtaman, Lauren Collier, Lusa and El Sartel complete the first annoucement.

HebCelt artist programmer Michelle Shields said: “We are incredibly excited to bring such a diverse and talented lineup to HebCelt 2025. From established favourites like Tide Lines to emerging artists who are redefining Celtic and folk music, we are curating a programme that celebrates the heart and soul of the Hebrides.

"Our new flexible payment plans are designed to make it easier for everyone to join us, and we are looking forward to welcoming both returning fans and newcomers to Stornoway for what promises to be a truly special year.”

In 2024, HebCelt drew over 17,800 attendees and contributed £4 million to the local economy.
