A MAN has died after an emergency incident in Glasgow.
Police received a report that the 64-year-old had taken unwell "while driving" on Millerston Street in the East End on Wednesday, November 27.
The force was alerted to the incident shortly after 10pm.
Emergency services, including police and medics, raced to the area. However, sadly the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
During the incident, Glasgow City Council said Millerston Street was shut between the Gallowgate to Duke Street.
It reopened shortly after 12am on Thursday, November 28.
Officers have since revealed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 10.10pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, we received a report that a 64-year-old man had taken ill while driving on Millerston Street, Glasgow.
"Police and Ambulance attended. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
