A SCOTTISH whisky distillery has won big at the 2024 Scottish Whisky Awards.

The national awards programme, which celebrates Scotland’s most iconic global product, recognised excellence across the Scotch whisky industry.

This year’s competition featured a "rigorous" blind tasting of over 200 Scotch whiskies produced by more than 60 Scottish distilleries and independent bottlers.

The top prize of the night, Scottish Whisky Distillery of the Year, was awarded to Isle of Harris Distillery. The distillery also won Product Launch of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.
