ELON Musk’s father has said that Nigel Farage would get a $100 million donation if it is needed to ensure that Reform UK wins the next General Election.

Errol Musk also suggested that the SpaceX boss might even be prepared to become a UK citizen to be able to do that.

He was commenting on reports suggesting that his son Elon was considering making the donation to ensure that Nigel Farage becomes prime minister.

Speaking on GB News, the older Musk said: “Look, I think it's a good idea. If it's not something he's not allowed to do, I would say as a private person, maybe he's allowed to do that.

“I'm eligible for British citizenship, so is he, I suppose. But you know, I think you would have to make sure he's not doing something that is not good. He must do the right thing.

“If the thing that's stopping Farage from moving ahead is money, then he should get money so that he can move ahead.”

The Times first reported on Musk’s potential goal to help Farage become prime minister.

The billionaire may also be able to sidestep overseas donation laws by donating through the UK branch of Twitter/X.

Farage told the Times: “All I can say is that I’m in touch with him and he is very supportive of my policy positions.

“We both share a friendship with Donald Trump and Trump has said good things about me in front of Musk. We’ve got a good relationship with him.”

However, speaking to GB News on Monday, Farage claimed he had "absolutely no idea" about a potential massive donation from Musk.

"It hasn't been discussed with me," the Reform UK leader said.
