POLICE have seized drugs worth more than £125,000 after a search at a Scottish ferry terminal.
Officers said that a van was stopped at the ferry terminal in Lerwick, Shetland, at around 7.30am on Friday, November 29.
Police who searched the vehicle found around 1.3kg of heroin and 512g of cocaine.
The heroin was worth in the region of £65,000 and the cocaine around £64,000, police said.
A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
He is due to appear from custody at Inverness Sheriff Court via video link on Monday.
Detective Inspector Calum Reid, said: “This recovery highlights our continued commitment in Shetland to disrupting drug activity and supply within our communities.
