A LUXURY bottle of whisky worth £40,000 is among stolen goods in a break-in at the high-end Highland department store House of Bruar.

Police are investigating the break-in which took place between 4am and 5.10am on Saturday, November 23.

A number of goods were stolen, including the 54-year-old bottle of Highland Park.

The store, located near Blair Atholl in Perthshire, sells luxury clothing, Scottish food and drink, as well as locally-sourced goods from the surrounding area.

Officer are asking members of the public who may have been asked to purchase any whisky to contact them with the details.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers are appealing to anyone who has any information or anyone who may have been asked to purchase bottles of whisky to contact them.

“If you have any information, please call 101, quoting incident number 0610 of November 23, 2024.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously.”
