AN emergency incident has led to delays on the M8 on Wednesday morning, with motorists advised to "approach with caution".
A two-vehicle crash including a "vehicle fire" on the busy motorway is causing delays on the eastbound stretch of J6, Newhouse, in North Lanarkshire.

A spokesperson for Traffic Scotland wrote: "Road users are advised to find alternative routes at this time. Emergency services are in attendance."
