The bakery was founded on Valentine’s Day in 2011 and opened its third shop in September 2023.

Writing on Facebook, staff said that difficult economic conditions meant the business had to cease trading.

A statement read: “It is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to cease trading.

“Like many other small independent businesses, the current economy has proven too much for us to continue.

“Customers will be contacted in due course. All our best wishes for 2025.”

A number of customers took to the comments to express their sadness with one describing the cupcakes as “legendary” while another said they had received a number of birthday cakes from the store.
