Now, the Jouker has made no secret of his concerns about the BBC’s political output. But now we’re having to expand our reach and keep a close eye on their meteorological content too.
That’s because THREE Scottish place names were incorrectly spelled in a graphic shown on the BBC’s News at One programme.

That’s right – not one, not two, but three. All of which were areas in the north of Scotland or the islands – surprise, surprise.
The experimental reimagining of these location spellings saw Stornoway identified as “Stornaway”, Inverbervie named “Iverbervie” and Lossiemouth as “Lossimouth”.
If you aren’t going to bother to get the spellings of Scotland’s towns right, maybe the Jouker isn’t so wrong to doubt your commitment to your overall current affairs coverage…
A BBC spokesperson said: “These misspellings were a mistake for which we apologise.”
