THE National is pro-independence. Obviously. But the pro-independence movement is not one big homogeneous group and discourse is needed more than ever between the diverging branches of the cause.

Our aim at The National has always been to create a space where that discourse can be open and thrive.

In the last 10 years, we've had a range of voices and currently, we bring together columnists from all parties and none, Scotland and further afield.
