Fancy a McDonald’s meal for under £2?
You might be able to bag your go-to items in this limited-time deal.
From bank holiday Monday (August 26), selected burgers and fries will be available for just £1.99 all week.
The offer will be available exclusively via the McDonald’s app and ends on Sunday, September 1.
What’s included in week-long McDonald’s £1.99 deal?
Up for grabs are menu favourites including the iconic Big Mac®, Quarter Pounder® with Cheese, McSpicy®, McChicken® Sandwich, McCrispy®, Filet-O-Fish® and McPlant® - each burger will be paired with Medium Fries.
Sadly, no drink is included so if you’re in the mood for a Fanta or milkshake, you will need to purchase this separately.
This week-long deal means that McDonald’s fans can celebrate the bank holiday on Monday with a McCrispy® or treat themselves to a Filet-O-Fish® on Friday.
Those making the most of the offer will save more than 70% off their burger of choice.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
