NOW that Plaid Cymru has, like the SNP, regained its autonomy, breaking with Welsh Labour over the concerns about their new leader Vaughan Gething, yet another opportunity arises for Scotland.

Prior to the announcement of the General Election the country is desperate for, John Swinney, Michelle O’Neill and Ruhn ap Lorwerth need to call a 3D summit to discuss the concerns of 3/4 of the UK countries in relation to Europe, the global stage (including Gaza and Ukraine) and domestic policies.

The three devolved governments share so much with regards to their outlook on social, economic and global issues and are weighed down by the disproportionate, uninterested and suffocating power wielded by the fourth, England, represented by Sunak/Starmer.

The 3D group must move together to adopt forward thinking and dynamic strategies to counter the constipation of Westminster.
