HERE’S my question concerning Diane Abbott. If the Labour Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) is the only body responsible for Diane Abbott’s future in politics – as according to Keir Starmer, it is nothing to do with him – and if the NEC votes to prevent her from standing as a Labour candidate in the coming election (her local party has selected her again, and unanimously), then surely she could stand as an “independent” candidate for Hackney North and Stoke Newington, as was her situation while she was then still under suspension, and when parliament was prorogued on May 24 ahead of the election on July 4?

THE truly disgraceful treatment of Diane Abbott should be enough to dissuade anyone thinking of voting Labour. She is an icon for Black people in Britain and especially Black women. Anyone prepared to endorse this farcical, corrupt and ruthless oligarchy by getting out of their bed to vote on July 4 needs their head examined.
