I’M sure you noticed that on the day the SNP launched their manifesto there were more pictures of Farage, even in The Guardian – oh, bastion of democracy – than of John Swinney and the good old BBC are doing their usual “fake equivalence” proclaiming a new debate to include Reform UK – and “balancing” that with the inclusion of the Greens. How magnanimous of them.

Note to self: the Greens have a properly elected MP whereas Reform have only a Tory defector plus the Greens have more than 800 councillors.

ENTERTAINING exchange between Stephen Flynn and Jo Coburn on Politics Live on Wednesday.

Coburn looked as if she was about to explode as she defended Labour plans to open the door wide to the private sector in England’s NHS. Fascinating that the host would campaign on behalf of a party! Actually, not – Coburn and the rest at the BBC have forever campaigned against the SNP at any opportunity.

As always, Flynn kept his cool and held his ground.
