AS sure as night follows day, it seems that whenever there is strife within the SNP, some of old guard are wheeled out to circle the wagons.
Surely after all the party and movement have been through at the hands of Nicola Sturgeon, it’s time for the like of Ian Blackford to sail off into the sunset and let the party members reach their own conclusions over the future direction of the party.

His own leadership at Westminster was marred by him trying to save the English government from itself during Brexit, when his strategy should have been focussed on independence.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
