AS sure as night follows day, it seems that whenever there is strife within the SNP, some of old guard are wheeled out to circle the wagons.

Surely after all the party and movement have been through at the hands of Nicola Sturgeon, it’s time for the like of Ian Blackford to sail off into the sunset and let the party members reach their own conclusions over the future direction of the party.
