I HAVE three things really getting my goat so to speak, so here goes.

Firstly, has there ever been a party more hellbent on absolutely ruining its chances of ever recovering from such a series of catastrophic blunders than the SNP?

From pushing the Jannie forward to lead the country while blackening the only real obvious leader, to asking the Supreme Court in a country that relies on Scotland’s huge wealth for permission to break away and expecting a yes, to so many off-the-scale blunders of epic proportions, the SNP have made many errors, but now when we didn’t think it could get any worse, an SNP politician is telling us that what Israel is doing is not genocide! While meanwhile, down in the vipers’ nest that is Westminster, a senior civil servant feels the need to resign due to him thinking the UK Government is complicit in the same said genocide!

The more I look at this situation, the more I think the biggest mistake ever made since 2014 was Alex Salmond resigning. Despite many gullible Scots actually swallowing the Unionist media’s blackening of his name, we lost a political genius to be replaced by a capable woman in many ways but who simply promised the world and delivered the square root of zero.

I respect Nicola Sturgeon for many reasons but hearing what was actually going on regarding her absolute authority makes me realise why so many people didn’t. And to think now she has gone, the meek, cap-doffing SNP still publish the annual, completely corrupt, one-sided, anti-independence tripe that goes under the name of GERS instead of taking down the cheats and liars who told people to vote No in 2014.

Those lies included that we’d be dragged out of the EU, energy prices would rise, banks would close and pensions would be null and void. Meanwhile, the SNP worked alongside that barrage of lies and scaremongering big business was warning their employees that a Yes vote would endanger their employees’ livelihoods – and let’s never forget famous people were warned not to publicly come out for Yes!

I cannot stop thinking of UntRuth Davidson checking the postal votes days before the “count” and telling people that the No vote was looking good.

Despite all this and so many other horror stories, the SNP just go on, cap in hand, accepting whatever is thrown at them, while ignoring proper land reform, putting building blocks in place in preparation for independence, having our own currency and trying to say we must enter the EU when there is zero chance of this from the outset. Pushing for the EU has become an open goal for Unionists at this point, and EFTA is the obvious one to join and we can go from there.

Every day of every week, the SNP should be shouting from the rooftops about the actual benefits of independence and showing people what their lives could be like and calling out each and every downright lie coming out of Westminster. Oh, and they shouldn’t publish GERS without a well-thought-out, planned and presented report of their own at the same time to show people the truth, but no, of course they won’t.

Secondly, the energy price “cap” –which is an absolute con anyway – is rising again, when the prices are already an absolute disgrace. Westminster continues to crucify the good people of these islands in their failing attempt to conceal the absolutely disastrous damage to themselves they caused with their “protect the rich, the royals, the tax-avoiders and ease the pressure on them to pay the people of these islands a decent pension”.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you ... Brexit.

Is there a single person in Scotland happy to pay genuinely daylight robbery prices for energy that is produced in Scotland, stolen away down south to England and then many having to pay more than the people in England for Scottish energy as well as us having to pay to sell excess energy on the grid when it’s free to English and Welsh firms?

We all know the 200% rises in energy only came about as our beautifully crooked, uncaring, neighbouring government saw the perfect excuse to crucify their own taxpayers when Russia invaded Ukraine, when in reality Britain needed next to no energy from Russia.

So unlike the civilised governments putting a cap of 5% on any rises – and Germany building huge storage facilities in under six months to ensure they could ensure honest energy prices, and to never be caught out again – we got 200% rises, and still some Scots can’t seem to see they are being absolutely shafted!

Have no fear, though, as the UK is now building the pipelines to not just steal all our oil but our renewables now also.

We of course must never forget that the Westminster political parties are basically funded by the energy giants – all of whom are posting absolutely disgraceful profits constantly now – so when you’re working in government and your shares portfolio is doing very nicely actually, then who cares about the real people struggling in many cases to actually exist?

Thirdly, GERS. I am sure it’s not gone unnoticed that even the name feels like a dig at the Scots, seemingly being named after Scotland’s biggest Union supporting football side.

So on a lighter note let’s see how we can combat this with the spelling from other Scottish football team names:

1. Alloa – Actual Long List Of Assets

2. Aberdeen – A Bountiful Energy Report Detailing Enormous Energy Natural-Resources

3. Arbroath – Actual Realistic Breakdown Of All The Holdings

4. Brechin – Bringing Real Energy Criteria Hidden Invisibly Now

5. Partick – Putting A Realistic Tally Into Common Knowledge

6. Dundee – Detailing Unbelievable Natural Disposable, Endless Energy

Then just for giggles:

7. Rangers – Real Amount Natural Gas, Electricity, Renewables, Seapower.

Last but not least, if they have GERS, it’s only right they get Celtic in response to level it all up. Remember levelling up? No, didn’t think so. Here goes then:

8. Celtic – Certifying Everything Like The Immense Crude

I know it’s not perfect but just a bit of fun and I am in no doubt readers could come up with much better, but as ever I am juggling 25 different hats today so just wanted to show these.

Have a good day folks and here’s to far better days.
