ARE we better together yet?

It’s been a long ten years since the 2014 independence referendum and we’re still waiting for the promises of the Better Together campaign to happen.

Instead we’ve been dragged out of the EU, had a badly managed Covid crisis with the Tory dodgy contracts scandal, a cost-of-living crisis, ever-increasing energy prices while they fall across Europe, Scotland’s only oil refinery closing while English refineries increase capacity (for Scottish oil) and a new Labour government that has enforced the Tory policies attacking those on benefits and even gone further by putting pensioners at risk with their Winter Fuel Payment cut.

Scotland could have and would have done better if it was an independent nation –it’s not too late to campaign for independence, in fact it’s more necessary than ever before!
