I DON’T know what is worse – the news that former PM and parliamentary clown Boris Johnson was planning a special forces raid to a warehouse in the Netherlands to steal Covid vaccinations, or that this pitiful example of a politician was able to outsmart former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon when it came to achieving Scotland’s independence.

The fact that Johnson is telling his story about the potential raid on the Netherlands shows how unsuitable he was as a Prime Minister. If his plan had been put into place we would have entered a war with the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. It shows how out of touch Johnson was and what a danger he was as Prime Minister.

Yet despite Johnson’s poor judgement he successfully managed to block any attempts (if any were actually made) by Nicola Sturgeon to move forward Scotland’s case for independence. It’s bad enough that her 10-year tenure ended in such failure, but surely being outsmarted by Boris Johnson reveals just how bad she was as SNP leader.
