FORMER Celtic, Hibs and Aberdeen star Dylan McGeouch is training with with Livingston.
The 29-year-old is keeping his fitness up to scratch as he continues his search for a new club.
The midfielder has yet to put pen to paper on his next deal, but has been a free agent since leaving Aberdeen in the summer.
He spent time with Mansfield Town during pre-season.
However, the midfield controller has yet to find his next permanent move.
In the mean time, David Martindale has offered McGeouch Livingston's facilities to keep himself fit. Leigh Griffiths is doing the same.
McGeouch told Open Goal: "He [Martindale] got in contact with me a few weeks ago and offered me to come in and get training and use it for fitness which is good. I appreciate it. Hopefully, when I get a team I'm ready to go.
"To be honest, we've not really spoken about it (a deal). It was just about coming in and getting fit and see where I am.
"I don't know in football, you know things change and they might get a few injuries or whatever and he might change his opinion. But he was just letting me know that I can come in and get fit and then when I step in somewhere it will be good.
"I've had a few offers but nothing that I'm jumping at so I've done the waiting game and now I'm at the stage where I need to get something sorted. I hope I get something sorted soon."
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
