STEPHEN Flynn has revealed which team he will be supporting after Scotland’s exit from the Euros.
During an interview with This Morning, the SNP Westminster leader said he was “gutted” to see Steve Clarke’s side exit the competition and he was now keeping an eye on France.
And it would appear there is a first for everything as Flynn also found himself in agreement with Douglas Ross and Rishi Sunak, who both believe Scotland should have been awarded a penalty when Stuart Armstrong was brought down in the box.

Asked about Scotland’s defeat, Flynn said he was “absolutely gutted” and added: “I’m a member of the Tartan Army. I go to all of the Scotland games.
“Of course I wasn’t there last night because I was getting to see you both today but properly gutted.
“I thought we should have had a penalty but we didn’t, we didn’t make enough of the opportunities that we did have and again it’s a famous Scottish disaster at the end.”
He then joked he couldn’t watch the footage as it was played on the show before praising the Tartan Army and spoke of the two supporters who were filmed holding up an umbrella for an elderly man in Cologne.

Asked who he would be supporting now, Flynn said “probably the French” while host Ben Shephard joked that the SNP Westminster leader “couldn’t bring himself to support England”.
Flynn added: “The Auld Alliance between Scotland and France is alive and well. Je suis français. That digs me out of that hole I think.”
Of course, The Jouker also hopes he'll be keeping an eye on England given that's his team in The National's charity sweepstake.
‘Sorry Swifties’
Flynn was also asked if he was a Taylor Swift fan after the US superstar’s record-breaking Eras Tour came to Scotland this month.
Flynn said: “Not a Swiftie I’m afraid” – though he added that everybody seemed to enjoy the concerts.
“My music taste is probably a bit more Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan I’m afraid.”
He later shared the clip on his own social media account and said: “Sorry Swifties.”
