Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin is confident the club are prepared for the possible transfer exit of Bojan Miovski.
The prolific goalscorer had watched the Dons' first two Premier Sports Cup group stage matches from the sidelines as the Pittodrie staff assessed the situation surrounding the North Macedonian striker.
But Miovski was included among the Aberdeen squad for Tuesday's home clash against Airdrie. Thelin's side were booed off at the half-time break, trailing by a Ben Wilson goal. That prompted the new boss to introduce his prized asset for the second half - and it ultimately paid off.
Miovski was involved in both goals, with the north-east outfit turning the tie around to ensure they remain on maximum points at the Group A summit.

It still remains to be seen whether the 25-year-old will still be a Scottish Premiership footballer come the beginning of the league season in 11 days time, particularly since the transfer window remains open until 11.30pm on August 30.
Italian Serie A duo, Bologna and Genoa, are believed to be leading the chase for the Aberdeen talisman, who netted 26 times in a struggling team last season. But there's also interest from Spain, England, Germany and the Netherlands.
Asked if he sees Miovski being part of his plans, Thelin replied: “We don’t know yet, so let’s see.
“That’s football and I’m used to it at my former club also.
“You have good players sometimes, and then you don’t have them, but we don’t know yet so let’s see.
“If something happens we need to do the best with that, believe and keep moving. That’s the way it works.”

Aberdeen have been persevering by giving Ester Sokler and Peter Ambrose additional game time to impress up front. Yet it was Miovski who stood out once again throughout his 45 minute cameo.
"Bojan is an amazing player," Thelin commented.
“He did really well with his presence. Bojan was clever in the pressing and how he cuts the passing line and brings other players with him.
“And also how he connected with players in our build-up and attack.
“Bojan was ready to play and showed that on the pitch. He gave everything for Aberdeen, the club and the fans.”
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
