Rangers striker Danilo was overcome with emotion after scoring his first goal following a major knee injury.

The Ibrox striker poked home against Ross County in the 6-0 rout at Hampden on Saturday.

Danilo replaced Cyriel Dessers with 66 minutes on the clock, and he made his impact in the final minute as he found the net.

Then, Danilo was visibly emotional as he covered his head with his shirt over his first goal back from injury.

The Brazilian striker had match a watch motion after the goal before being mobbed by his team-mates for celebrations.

After the match, Danilo told Rangers TV: “I am grateful, I have been working so hard for a while.

“I have to thank my team-mates and the coach for giving me confidence to play my first league game of the season and to score my first goal.

“How did the first goal feel? So many things came to mind and I got emotional.
