Scotland have finished THIRD in their Nations League group.
Steve Clarke's side will feature in the relegation play-offs after their 2-1 win in Poland tonight.
Scotland had to beat the Poles in Warsaw this evening, meanwhile, holding out hope that already qualified Portugal could do them a favour against Croatia.
Unfortunately, despite recording back-to-back competitive victories for the first time in 2024, it was not enough to finish above Croatia in the A1 table, as they drew with the Portuguese 1-1 in Split.
While relegation to section B remains a possibility in the future play-off, Andy Robertson scored with a bullet header in stoppage time to secure a famous away win for the Tartan Army.

This will take place in 2025, and Scotland will play whoever they face (Greece, Austria, TBC, TBC) away from home first, with the second leg at Hampden.
It also means Scotland will be drawn from pot 2 when determining the World Cup qualification groups next month so long as either Estonia or Georgia to avoid defeat against Slovakia and the Czech Republic tomorrow night.
After Robertson's winner to add to John McGinn's tidy finish in the early part of the game, it means Poland have been relegated from League A to B.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
