Daniel Dubois tipped the scales at a career-high 17st 10lbs for the first defence of his IBF world heavyweight title against Anthony Joshua at Wembley on Saturday.
Dubois registered 3lbs heavier than for his most recent victory, an eighth-round stoppage on cuts of Croatian Filip Hrgovic in June, while Joshua tipped the scales 4lbs heavier at 18st.
The weigh-in was overseen by ring announcer Michael Buffer with a sizeable crowd in attendance at Londonโs Trafalgar Square, although there were no fireworks from the British rivals.
โItโs time to get into the ring and fight. Lets go. Iโve been working hard. A lot of work and training has gone into this and Iโm ready to go. A win, by any means necessary,โ Dubois said.
Joshua, who also weighed 18st for his brutal demolition of Francis Ngannou in March, promised to put on a show for the 96,000 sell-out crowd.
โI look at myself as a gladiator. Iโm pumped and ready to perform for the people. Iโm not smelling any roses yet, just blood. Fresh blood,โ he said.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. Weโve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who arenโt really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So thatโs why weโve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate โ and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about โ people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Letโs get that debate started!
